2014 Harewood Estate Cabernet Merlot

Matured in French oak for 18 months. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and spicy mulberries are intermixed with hints of black olive and cedary tobacco characters. Medium to full bodied with plenty of richness and abundant ripe fruit the palate boasts mouthfilling flavours of blackcurrant over some mulberry and cedary tobacco infusions with a spicy finish. The tannins have a sturdy feel to them but are relatively finely grained. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, cedary tobacco characters, traces of black olive and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
