2014 Hardys HRB Chardonnay

Fruit was sourced from Pemberton, Margaret River and Adelaide Hills. Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Lifted aromatics of fleshy white peaches laced with dried honey and some light butterscotch overlay nougat and spice. Medium to full bodied with excellent richness and an appealing fleshiness to the mouthfeel that’s almost creamy, the palate is filled with generous ripe peach, nectarine and dried honey flavours which meld into some citrusy nougat, faint butterscotch and spice. Good freshness on the finish with a long ripe white peach, dried honey, citrusy nougat and spice aftertaste.
