2014 Gioiello Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in French oak barriques for 18 months. Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant intermix with black olives, a whiff of liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar. Medium bodied with an elegant feel initial light blackcurrant and liquorice flavours are overlaid by vanillin cedar with traces of black olives and dried herbs also evident. Finely grained tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, subtle liquorice, vanillin cedar, black olives and spicy herbs.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
