2014 Giaconda Estate Vineyard Shiraz

Totally opaque dark purple black core with a bright dark purple red hue. Aromas of dark cherry and liquorice are overlaid by clove and some meaty characters with earthy blackpepper following on. Medium bodied with excellent richness and an elegant supplely textured mouthfeel the palate features generous ripe dark cherry, liquorice and plum flavours infused with clove over some earthy dried meat characters and spicy pepper. Very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Excellent persistence with a long ripe dark cherry, liquorice, clove, dried meats, earth and spicy pepper aftertaste. Supple, savoury and long this is an excellent cool climate Shiraz.
