2014 Gapsted Wines Tobacco Road Sangiovese Barbera

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a red to brick red hue. Aromas of bright red cherries and dark raspberries are overlaid by a mix of fresh herbs, earth and spice. Medium bodied the palate has flavours of juicy cherries and dark raspberries followed by earthy vanillin cedar and fresh herb infusions. Slightly dryish finish with bright acidity, rustic tannins and an aftertaste of juicy dark cherries, raspberries, spicy vanillin cedar and dried herb infusions.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
