2014 Fromm La Strada Syrah

Certified organic and co-fermented with a portion of Viognier. Totally opaque black dark red core with a dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of blackberry and liquorice infused with a faint whiff of honeysuckle are trailed by smoky meats, violets and spice. Quite light and very elegantly structured the palate has flavours of red plums, a touch of liquorice, fresh herb infusions, some smokiness and blackpepper. Fresh acidity with slightly dryish yet refined tannins. Medium length finish. A very elegant style of Syrah.
