2014 Foster e Rocco Sangiovese

Semi translucent dark red colour with a brick red hue. Fragrant aromas of dark and dried cherries laced with herbs are followed by hints of varnished leather and spicy cedar. Light to medium bodied with good fruit and a supple mouthfeel, the palate features spicy dark cherry flavours that sit alongside some dried cherry infusions, earthy cedar and spicy dried herbs. Slightly dryish tannins but otherwise very fine grained. Savoury conclusion of spicy dark cherries, dried cherries, earthy cedar and dried herbs.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
