Deep dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. Aromas of Morello cherries are mixed in with some stemmy cedar notes, dried herbs and earthy tobacco. Light to medium weight the palate features flavours of Morello cherries and vanillin cedar over some earth and spice. Fine grained tannins with a slightly dryish finish. Aftertaste of ripe Morello cherries, vanillin cedar, subtle earth and spice. The vanillin cedar component overshadows the palate a tad too much.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
