2014 Evan Williams Single Barrel Vintage Bourbon Whiskey (750ml)

A few new expressions of Heaven Hill's vintage dated bottlings have arrived. A five-time Whiskey of the Year award winner, the series started in 1986 with many critics claiming each new edition better than the last. It's the subtle year-to-year differences that keep Bourbon lovers coming back - not to mention the reasonable asking prices (if you purchase them on release). Aromas and flavors of fresh sweet corn dunked in drawn butter, candied orange, vanilla cream cheese with cocoa powder and coconut shavings, and strawberry shortcake with a round, crisp, dry medium-to-full body and a tingling, engaging, long finish that exhibits suggestions of caramelized corn bread, german chocolate cake, and cracked pepper.
