Aged for 15 months in predominately French oak puncheons. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Lifted aromas of ripe dark plums and liquorice dominate the nose followed by some earthy vanillin cedar and spice. Soft and round with a plush textural feel the palate has generous flavours of dark plum, chocolate bullets and vanillin cedar over some spicy earth. Velvet smooth tannins. Medium to long aftertaste of spicy dark plums, liquorice, chocolatey vanillin cedar and a touch of earth.
