2014 Eden Trail Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black colour with a deep dark purple black hue. Lifted top notes of liquorice and blackberry rise from the glass followed by dried meats, vanillin cedar and pepper. Medium to full bodied with good richness and a meaty structured mouthfeel the palate features flavours of blackberry and liquorice intermixed with dried meats and subtle vanillin cedar with a peppery finish. Dry sturdy tannins provide a robust mouthfeel. Long aftertaste of blackberries, liquorice, peppered dried meats and vanillin cedar.
