2014 Eden Hall Block 4 Shiraz

Totally opaque midnight black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced aromatics of liquorice, dark plums and black cherries emanate from the glass followed by subtle dried clove infusions, some meatiness, spicy vanillin cedar and pepper. Full bodied and quite supple in its textural feel the palate is flooded with rich blackberry, liquorice and dark plum flavours subtlety infused with dried clove over traces of meatiness and spicy vanillin cedar with a blackpepper finish. Velvet smooth tannins are perfectly integrated with the fruit. Excellent power with a long peppery aftertaste of liquorice, dark plums, dried meats, subtle dried clove infusions and spicy vanillin cedar. Rich, plush Eden Valley Shiraz that retains a sense of elegance and refinement.
