2014 Duke's Single Vineyard Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Fragrant blackberry and liquorice scents meld in to vanillin cedar, a faint earthy meatiness and blackpepper. Supple entry with good richness to the medium weighted palate featuring flavours of blackberry and liquorice over well integrated vanillin cedar, some meatiness and pepper. Slightly dryish finish with velvet like tannins. Concludes with an aftertaste of blackberries, liquorice, vanillin cedar, subtle dried meats and blackpepper.
