These new range of concoctions from Treasury Wine Estates include a dash of Fortified wine in the blends. Opaque dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. The nose displays top notes of ripe plum with nuances of inky liquorice and spice also present. Medium weight, sweetly fruited and possessing a very slippery mouthfeel the palate has little complexity to speak of with flavours of ripe plums, macerated cherries, a touch of liquorice and spice. Low acidity and velvet smooth tannins. Modest aftertaste of dark plum, ripe cherries and spice.
