2014 Domaines Schlumberger Les Princes Abbes Pinot Blanc

Bright pale straw colour with a greenish tinged outskirts and watery hue. The nose offers up ripe pear and dried apple scents coated with lightly toasted dried honey followed by some quince and light spice. The palate has a broad rounded mouthfeel with more than sufficient acidity on the finish. Generous ripe pear and Jonathan apple flavours are to the fore with subtle dried honey characters and citrusy quince ensuing. Clean dry finish with an aftertaste of fresh pears, Jonathan apples, subtle dried honey and citrusy quince.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
