An exuberantly spicy nose displays a plethora of floral nuances on the black cherry and cassis scents. There is outstanding concentration to the velvet-textured and broad-shouldered flavors that coat the palate with sap while buffering the very firm tannic spine on the equally well-balanced and again built-to-age finale. Here too patience is mandatory.

Suchots; still a bit of malic acidity remaining): Deep red-ruby. Aromas of blackberry, licorice and cocoa powder. Dense, sappy and sweet, communicating excellent depth to its flavors of black raspberry, menthol and minerals. Finishes sappy, ripe and very long, with sweet tannins covered by black fruits.
