2014 Domaine Chandon Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a light red hue. Scented aromas of ripe dark cherries and strawberries are overlaid by anise and toasty oak followed by some meatiness and spice. Lighter bodied the palate has savoury flavours of dark cherries and strawberries intermixed with meaty characters and spicy cedar. Slightly dryish on the finish with very fine grained tannins. Quite supple in its mouthfeel with an aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, dried meats and stalky cedar.
Cellar 4-5 years.
