2014 Dodgy Bros. The Dilemma Cabernet Franc Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

Made from a blend of 50% Cabernet Franc, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon and 13% Merlot. The Cabernet Franc and Merlot components were matured in old large format oak whilst the Cabernet Sauvignon was matured in new French oak barriques. Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. Elegant aromas of blackcurrant, mulberries and subtle spearmint overlay a hint of earth and spicy cedar. Soft round palate entry with ripe blackcurrant and mulberry flavours dominate over earth, traces of bay leaf and spicy cedar. Dries up towards the finish with slightly chalky tannins. Has an overall sense of elegance. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, subtle bay leaf, earth and spicy cedar.
