Opaque black purple colour with a dark purple hue. Aromas of blackberry and liquorice are overlaid by toasty oak and blackpepper. Full bodied the palate is filled with luscious blackberry and liquorice flavours laced with toasty vanillin oak followed by some spicy pepper on the finish. Dry, slightly chewy yet fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, blackberries, toasty vanillin oak and pepper.
