Opaque dark purple black colour with a bright purple red hue. Reserved nose with subtle scents of liquorice and dark plum overlaid by black olive and scorched earth with spice end notes. Medium weight the palate has bright dark plum and dark cherry flavours followed by traces of liquorice, earth and spicy cedar. Fresh acid finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, plum, a touch of liquorice, earth and spicy cedar.
