2014 d'Arenberg The Galvo Garage Cabernet Sauvignon Petit Verdot Merlot

Fruit was sourced from both McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills to produce this Cabernet blend. Inky black at its core with a very deep dark red black hue. Displaying herbal top notes, notions of blackcurrant, tobacco leaf, capsicum, black olive, earth and spicy leather are also apparent. Full bodied and showing a riper fruit profile than the nose, rich blackcurrant fruits are backed by a stern tannin structure that leads into a dry grippy finish. Elements of tobacco leaf, earth, dried herbs and spicy leather ensue. The aftertaste quite robust and muscular in its feel.
