2014 Circuit Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Fragrant violet, plum and ripe strawberry aromas emanate from the glass with underlying hints of anise, dried meats and spicy cedar. The palate is lighter than expected and a touch lean texturally with flavours of red and sour cherries over a touch of dried meats and spicy cedar. Dry finish with fresh acidity and fine grained tannins. Lacks power with a modest aftertaste of red and sour cherries, some meatiness and spicy cedar.
