A blend of 86% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc. Very deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and dark red hue. Spicy red to black currant aromas are overlaid by pencilly cedar and subtle earthy black olive notes. Medium bodied and very elegant across the palate, flavours of red currant meld into spicy cedar and dusty earth with some tobacco and dried herb elements also evident. Dryish finish with chalky tannins and a medium length aftertaste.
