The 2014 St Aubin 1er Cru en Remilly has a beautiful nose with mineral-rich citrus fruit that are detailed and animated. The palate is very well balanced with good depth and breeding, very well judged acidity and a finish that knows the meaning of the word finesse. Bon vin!

Sulfur presently dominates the nose and renders it unreadable. Otherwise there is good density and vivacity to the delicious and mineral-inflected middle weight flavors that deliver fine length on the delineated, intense and balanced finale. This is lovely and I like the refreshing salinity.

Pale, bright yellow. Anise and crushed stone on the nose. Supple and easygoing, but kept fresh and firm by lime leaf and a suggestion of limestone. This will earn a higher score if the nose brightens up a bit. Finishes with good mineral firmness.
