A small parcel of Barbera has been blended in with this Shiraz. Totally opaque inky black colour with a bright dark red purple hue. Top notes of ripe blackberry and dark plum are followed by some liquorice and vanillin confectionary. Medium weight with good richness and a soft round mouthfeel the palate has flavours of liquorice, dark plum, vanillin cedar and a touch of spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of dark plum, liquorice, vanillin cedar and spice.
