2014 Casa da Passarella a Descoberta

Impenetrable midnight black colour with a bright dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of liquorice and ripe Morello cherries are intertwined with earthy incense like notes and spice. Dry and earthy with firm, grippy tannins that give the palate a rustic feel, flavours of Morello and black cherries are also apparent. Dry chewy finish with an aftertaste of spicy black and Morello cherries, earth, leather and old cedar.
