2014 Brini Sebastian Shiraz

A classy McLaren Vale Shiraz blessed with rich, supplely textured fruit and silky tannins.

Matured in French and American oak barrels for 18 months. Black as night colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Potent ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum aromatics rise out of the glass followed by vanillin cedar, hints of dark chocolate, earth and spice. Rich, fleshy and plush the palate is decorated with mouthfilling flavours of blackberries, liquorice and dark plums which sit over vanillin oak, faint earth and spice. Very polished, beautifully integrated tannins have a velvet like feel. Excellent power with a long ripe blackberry, liquorice, dark plum, vanillin cedar, earthy mocha and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
