Matured in French and American oak barrels for 18 months. Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of ripe blackcurrant and mulberries overlaid by cedary tobacco characters with spice end notes. The palate displays good weight and richness with blackcurrant and mulberry flavours intermixed with a prominent tobacco character finishing with spicy cedar. Very finely grained perfectly integrated tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant infused with tobacco, mulberries and spicy cedar.
