2014 Brand's Laira Blockers Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Elevated aromas of blackcurrant and mulberries are overlaid by cedary tobacco characters followed by hints of earth and spicy bay leaf. Rich but beautifully balanced the medium bodied palate is filled with red and blackcurrant fruit as well as mulberries which sit over earthy cedar, dried herbs and traces of black olive. Dry spicy finish with fine grained tannins having a robust underbelly that implies plenty of structure to the wine. Aftertaste of red and blackcurrant, mulberries, cigar box, black olives, scorched earth and spice.
