Opaque dark purple black colour with a bright dark purple hue. The nose reveals scents of fresh plum and ripe dark cherries over some meatiness and smoky cedar with light pepper end notes. The palate is very light and quite lean with flavours of fresh plums and sour cherries followed by subtle meatiness and faint spicy cedar. Bright acidity with slightly dryish fine grained tannins. Has no real depth or persistence finishing short with an aftertaste of fresh plum, sour cherries, light meatiness and spice. A fresh Beaujolais styled Shiraz.
