2014 Artiste Cabernet Merlot

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. The nose opens with ripe dark cherry and blackcurrant scents that almost have a Ribena like character about them followed by some cedary tobacco characters, charry black olive and spice. On the palate blackcurrant and mulberry flavours are overlaid by charry cedar with some spice also present. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, charry oak and spice.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
