Deep dark red colour with a bright red hue. Subdued aromas of dark cherries, plum, liquorice, earthy cedar and spicy dried herbs slowly emerge from the glass. Light to medium weight the palate has fruity Morello cherry, dark plum and earthy cedar flavours with a very spicy dry finish. Slightly chalky tannins combine with bright acidity. Aftertaste of spicy Morello cherries, liquorice and earthy cedar.
