Opaque black crimson colour with a crimson purple hue. The nose displays aromas of liquorice, plum, toasty vanillin oak and spice. Medium weight the palate is both soft and generous with flavours of liquorice and ripe plums over a background of toasty vanillin oak with some spice on the finish. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, plum and spicy toasted vanillin oak.
