A blend of 49% Grenache, 29% Shiraz and 22% Mourvedre. Opaque dark purple black colour with a bright purple hue. Aromas of spicy dark raspberry, dark plum and liquorice are followed by some earth. Medium weighted with good richness the palate possesses generous dark raspberry, blackberry and liquorice flavours over some scorched earth like characters, pen ink and spice. Dry inky finish with slightly chalky, firmish tannins. Long inky dark raspberry, liquorice, earth and spice aftertaste.
