Excellent opaque inky black colour with a dark purple black hue. Nosing reveals aromas of liquorice, ripe blackcurrant and blackberries followed by vanillin cedar and bay leaf. Medium weighted with just the right amount of richness and an elegant textural feel the palate features flavours of blackcurrant, subtle blackberries, dusty cedar and spice. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins and an aftertaste of blackcurrant, dusty cedar and spice.
