Totally opaque midnight black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Aromas of liquorice, blackberries, subtle dark chocolate and vanillin confectionary emerge from the glass with spice end notes. Full bodied the palate is filled with rich liquorice and blackberry flavours over some vanillin oak and inky spice characters. Solid, fine grained tannin structure. Aftertaste of liquorice, blackberries, confectionary and spicy vanillin cedar.
