Totally opaque inky black red colour with a deep very dark red black tinged hue. Nosing reveals scents of blackcurrant and mulberry over some stalky cedar and spice. Full bodied and generously fruited with blackcurrant and ripe mulberry flavours, underlying nuances of stalky cedar and spice are also present. Fine grained, yet quite solid tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberry, subtle liquorice and spicy cedar.
