2013 Williams Crossing Pinot Noir

Matured in predominately older French oak barrels for a period of 12 months this is Curly Flat’s second label produced from declassified barrels and represents great value.

Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with a light red hue. Nosing reveals aromas of dark cherries and ripe strawberries intermixed with some violets, faint anise and lightly toasted spicy cedar. Light in body the palate has a good power wave with generous flavours of ripe dark cherries and strawberries followed by some meaty characters and spicy cedar. Perfectly integrated very fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of dark cherries, dried meats and spicy cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
