Matured for 18 months in French oak. Totally opaque midnight black red colour with a very deep red black hue. Lifted aromas of blackcurrant are intermixed with hints of bay leaf and black olive which overlay some cedary tobacco characters and spice. Medium bodied, elegant mouthfeel with good richness and savouriness the palate features flavours of blackcurrant, mulberries, cedary tobacco characters, a touch of black olive and spice. Very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Medium to long blackcurrant, mulberry, cedary tobacco characters and spice aftertaste.
