Totally opaque inky black colour with a dark purple black hue. The nose shows excellent intensity with lifted aromas of liquorice and blackberries overlaid by some vanillin oak with blackpepper end notes. Rich generously textured flavours of liquorice and ripe blackberries are followed by some toasty vanillin oak with a blackpepper overlay. Velvet smooth tannins. Excellent depth with a very peppery finish. Long peppery liquorice, ripe blackberry, vanillin oak and spice aftertaste.
