Malbec is grown throughout Mendoza, with the Uco Valley in the south including the sub districts of Tupungato and La Consulta, two new hot spots for cooler climate Malbec. Bramare (brah-MAH-reh) is an Italian word meaning "to yearn for", and pays tribute to the heritage of the Marchiori family.

Superb totally impenetrable inky black colour with a very deep dark red black hue. Intense aromas of juicy black cherries, black plums and chocolate bullets waft from the glass followed by hints of scorched earth, vanillin cedar and spice. Rich and powerful the palate is layered with succulent ripe black cherry and liquorice flavours wrapped up in an opulent mouthfeel. Black plums, vanillin cedar, traces of scorched earth and spice following on. Excellent power with a robust tannin structure holding everything in place. Long conclusion of ripe blackberries, black plums, liquorice, vanillin cedar and spicy scorched earth. Packed with an abundance of fruit, this is a very expressive and hedonistic interpretation of Malbec.
Cellar 6-8 years.
Alc 15.1%
