Matured in predominately first and second fill French and American oak for 21 months. Totally opaque midnight black colour with a very deep dark crimson red black hue. Lifted aromas of liquorice, ripe blackberries and dark chocolate arise from the glass with underlying toasty vanillin oak and spice notes. Rich and opulent in texture the palate delivers a sumptuous flavour profile of liquorice, ripe juicy blackberries, subtle dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
