2013 Valle Secreto First Edition Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 12 months in French oak this rich, well structured Chilean Cabernet clearly validates the countries reputation for producing some of the worlds best value Cabernet Sauvignon. Opaque black crimson colour with a dark crimson red hue. Showing good lift the nose displays aromas of blackcurrant laced with fresh tobacco and a hint of black olive followed some cedary cigar box and spice notes. Full bodied the palate possesses rich ripe blackcurrant and subtle liquorice flavours over cedary tobacco characters, some cigar box and spice. Very fine grained velvet like tannins have an undercurrent of solidness about them. Long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrants, cedary tobacco characters, cigar box and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
