Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. The nose exhibits aromas of blackcurrants and hints of mulberries over some earthy cedar notes, subtle black olive and spicy dried herbs. Dense chewy medium bodied palate with blackcurrant and mulberry flavours to the fore followed by earthy cedar, black olives and spicy tobacco. Dry finish with firm grippy tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberry, earthy cedar, black olives and spice.
