Opaque black purple colour with a bright dark purple hue. The nose displays inky blackberry and liquorice aromas followed by some toasty vanillin oak and spice. Full bodied the palate possesses rich luscious fruit flavours of ripe blackberry, dark plums and liquorice which overlay some toasty vanillin oak with a spicy peppery finish. Fresh acidity and velvet smooth tannins concluding with a medium to long ripe blackberry, dark plum, chocolate bullet and spicy toasty oak aftertaste.
