Opaque black dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. Lifted aromas of ripe blackberries, dark raspberry, liquorice and dark plum are followed by some meaty characters and spice. Medium bodied and supplely textured the palate features succulent flavours of ripe dark raspberries and liquorice over some dark plum, vanillin oak and a touch of earth finishing very spicy. Velvet smooth tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe dark raspberries, liquorice, vanillin confectionary, subtle earth and spice.
