2013 Tenuta San Guido Le Difese

Deep dark red black tinged colour with a dark red hue. The nose displays subtle aromas of dark cherries overlaid by earthy cedar characters followed by a touch of leather with spice end notes. Light to medium weight and very elegant the palate has flavours of dark cherries infused with some dried herb characters over some earth and spicy cedar. Dry finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, dried herbs, cedar, light earth and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
