Opaque black dark purple colour with a deep dark purple red hue. Aromas of ripe black cherries, liquorice and incense overlay earthy leather and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate has rich juicy black cherry and liquorice flavours over earthy incense characters, leather and spice. Dry, chewy finish with relatively fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice, earthy incense infusions and spicy leather.
