Totally opaque inky black colour with a deep dark crimson black hue. On the nose aromas of blackcurrant are intermixed with cedar, tobacco, black olive and spice. Medium bodied, dry and possessing a firm tannin backbone the palate has flavours of ripe blackcurrant and subtle dark chocolate over a background of dusty cedar, tobacco, black olive and spice. Dry grippy finish with an aftertaste of blackcurrant, black olive, cedary tobacco characters and spice.
