2013 St Hallett Butcher's Cart Shiraz

Magnificent depth of colour displaying an impenetrable inky black core with a very deep dark purple black hue. Scents of freshly crushed blackberries and plum are followed by a dollop of liquorice with underlying vanillin cedar and pepper. Medium to full bodied with an underlying freshness about it the palate features flavours of blackberries, dark plums and liquorice over a background of vanillin cedar and blackpepper. Dryish finish with slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, fresh blackberries and peppery vanillin cedar. Requires some patience.
